Welcome!
Here is the journal of a newlywed in her early 20's in Central Alberta, Canada. Moving to Calgary during August.
In September you will get to hear my ramblings about going to University also. I am in my 3rd year of Natural Sciences (minor: Biology and Chemistry). I switched programs after 2 years in the Education (teaching) program.
Mostly my daily happenings, as well as some articles and quotes I found interesting enough to share!
Hope you enjoy your stay, and please let me know you were here!

Im now trying to catch up on all the housework from the weekend...I promise to return later today
and do some catching up.
Just out blog hopping and found yours. I hope your wedding is everything you ever dreamed of. Stop in sometime!
Well I'm a married woman now! I have to say, I don't feel any different, I'm not sure what I expected tho either. My mom said she didn't really feel that "marriage bond" until she was pregnant with me. I'm not complaining at all tho, we have a wonderful relationship that is just "official" now. I'm glad it hasn't changed anything. It is weird to call my self "Mrs" and to have a different last name. There is so much paperwork involved in changing my name on everything! It's fun tho, we call each other "husband" and "wife" and then laugh at the sound of it!
I wonder how long it takes to get used to those married terms?
Our honeymoon was fun, we went to Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. It is almost like a different country out east! So different than Alberta! I loved it tho, it was slow-paced and relaxing, just what we needed after all the stress of the wedding. We did have some minor quarrels, but only if we got lost when Chris was driving and I was reading the map. I'd tell him to take the next turn, and he'd drive right past it, or I'd read the map wrong and we'd go in circles!
Oh well, it was an adventure!
Well, now back to the real world. Work is still boring and unfulfilling, but it pays the bills. I gave my notice, my last day is August 16th. Yay! We found a place in Calgary, and get possetion on Aug. 1, but we have our current place until the end of Aug, so we can slowly move things in, which is nice. We got a small 4 bdrm, 2 bath house with a single garage. Sure is a step up from a 1 bdrm basement suite! I'm excited! It's also very colorful, the basement is almost entirely lime green! Fun stuff!
Anyways, I must get up and stretch my knees out, they get so sore sitting at a desk all day!
