Kris S: Hi...just stopping by to catch up a bit. I don't get a chance to do much visiting any more. I hope you've shaken off the depression - there's nothing worse in the world than feeling blue! Have a lovely holiday season, Brittany! Merry Christmas!
loopychick: I stayed with an old school friend in spruce grove near Edmonton for 2 weeks recently! She moved there from the UK. I loved Alberta!
shinydemon: are you as busy and overwhelmed by midterms as i am right now? eeeks....
Kris S: Hi, Brittany! Just dropping in while I have a little extra time on the computer today to say hello. Did that girl who cried end up coming back to class?! How strange! Hope this finds you well!
cathi: LOL, I moved 3 years ago and we still have boxes in the bedroom, and stuff in the garage. There's something to be said for boxes that remain unopened for ages, perhaps what's in them isn't needed? Nah, it's the next great archeological find.Good luck with your university courses!
ANGEL: JUST STOP TO SAY HI
Leenie: Sorry it's taken forever to get over here...I had a really busy Monday Im now trying to catch up on all the housework from the weekend...I promise to return later today and do some catching up.
Kris S: Thank you so much for the encouraging words you left on my poem entry. I am working my way thru some difficult things but I know I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. He has never let me down, and I know He never will. I just have to remember the 'flames' of the trial will abate! Hope this finds YOU well!
Starlight: Hi Brittany! Just out blog hopping and found yours. I hope your wedding is everything you ever dreamed of. Stop in sometime!
Kris S: Hi, Brittany! Thanks so much for stopping by my site and leaving such a nice tag! I was 20 when I got married, too! Seems like a million years ago now, haha! Congratulations on the wedding this weekend...may you be blessed with many happy years ahead of you, too!
Leenie: Hey there...thanks for the visit and kind words...always appreciated. Have a great week and please drop in again soon...

Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there. -Will Rogers

I'm having stomach problems today, well actually over the past few days.  I will eat a small amount of food, and then totally lose my appetite. Last night I had a sandwhich, and only ate half of it, which is not normal for me. I usually have a good appetite. Then around 10:15pm, when I finally got home, I saw Chris had bought two bags of chips and I was starving. So I ate about half of a big bag of chips. Felt extremely shitty afterwards...guilty, fat, bloated, and I got a stomach ache. My IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) doesn't like big doses of junk food at a time! I still felt icky this morning, but had a bowl of cereal anyways because I never miss breakfast (it throws my whole day off). Then I had a cup of coffee, which gave me a stomach ache. (I know I need to cut back on coffee - but it's so good!). Once that went away, I was hungry by noon. I got a small chef's salad and a fruit salad. I ate most of the salad, and started in on the fruit, and I can't eat it. Lost my appetite again. It is weird to me... I used to be able to eat so much! Not that that is good either! It's just hard to adjust to. Maybe I'm just learning how to notice when I'm full faster. But I'm still slightly hungry... but don't want any food.  I went through this last June too, and it lasted for about 2 weeks. The plus side is I lost a few pounds! But have since gained them back and more.  I really would like to lose about 7 or 8 lbs, it's just hard... there always seem to be obstacles in my way. Come on willpower!!!

Anyways... Chris didn't find his wallet, I have a feeling it's on the side of the hwy. So he had to cancel all his cards, and he still has to get a new ID. Fun stuff. We're going to Saskatoon this weekend (fun 7 hour drive ) for a wedding. I hope he doesn't need his ID!

And it is my last day at work today! Yay!  I've been working at the hotel here for just over a year now. It'll be strange to leave... but I'm really looking forward to turning over a new leaf in a new city and going back to school. Going out for drinks with some co-workers tomorrow for Ladies Night! Should be fun!  Then more drinking Friday and Saturday with "the cousins" in Saskatoon! Don't get me wrong, I don't usually go out drinking that much, just seem to a lot lately. I'm enjoying it while I can tho, because I know that will end once I'm stuck studying and doing homework every weekend!

Well I'm off!

3 SAY HI!.

Well maybe its the combination of stress from the big move, the fact that youre quitting a job it sounds like you enjoy and the heat? Either way i hope it passes soon for ya.

Take care and enjoy your flatland weekend! ;-)
