Welcome!
Here is the journal of a newlywed in her early 20's in Central Alberta, Canada. Moving to Calgary during August.
In September you will get to hear my ramblings about going to University also. I am in my 3rd year of Natural Sciences (minor: Biology and Chemistry). I switched programs after 2 years in the Education (teaching) program.
Mostly my daily happenings, as well as some articles and quotes I found interesting enough to share!
Hope you enjoy your stay, and please let me know you were here!

Im now trying to catch up on all the housework from the weekend...I promise to return later today
and do some catching up.
Just out blog hopping and found yours. I hope your wedding is everything you ever dreamed of. Stop in sometime!
It's been awhile since I posted last. I guess that is a consequence of being a university student! I'm really liking all of my classes except for Calculus, I am still really lost there and am getting a little stressed about it. I'm finding my geology class really easy because I took a very similar class at Red Deer College already, so hopefully that should boost my GPA. Everything is all about grades I've learned. It's so annoying. Even if you are a very hard worker and are creative and diligent but don't get good grades, it's like a death sentance. Everyone is always competeing over grades and comparing them. I hate it! Why should I have to tell my peers what I got? Strangely, I'm still very curious to know what they got though! Mostly I want to see how I'm doing compared to the rest of the class.
Well, my last post I wrote about a girl that cried all class. No, I didn't get up the nerve to talk to her (and I'm glad -more later), but she's definitly returned to every class, which I'm glad to see. Today in Chem class we were using our "CPS Clickers", which are basically like a remote control that is tied to our student ID number and we answer multiple choice questions in class with it. Anyways this girl (Sarah, I later learned her name is), Sarah started pounding on her desk with her CPS Clicker, everyone turned to look and then she stopped. We were in the middle of answering a question and all of a sudden she has an outburst and THROWS her CPS Clickers at a teacher in the front of the class!!! Then she starts whining that she can't figure out how to use it. Someone gives it back to her, and she starts pounding it on her desk again!!! What a psycho!!! So this girl obviously has some more serious problems than depression. A teacher took her out of the class for a few minutes, and then she returned and was fine. It was just so weird! Especially in a university chemistry class! I thought you had to be at a certain "level" psychologically to take these courses.
Anyways, not too much is new. I haven't had any time to explore my new city much, which is dissapointing because there's so much to see and do here. But I'm busy, and when I do have free time I'm usually to tired to go out anywhere anyways! I might have to wait until Christmas break to really get out and see the city! This weekend Chris and I are going to Saskatoon for Thanksgiving. I'm excited! I just love seeing all of his extended family! It'll be a big party! Yay! I think I'll post my list of what I'm thankful for after the weekend. I like making a list like that once a year (at thanksgiving), as it really reminds me how blessed I really am.
Bye for now!
